Baitussalam Educational Complex North Campus: Quality Education in the Heart of Rural Punjab

The district of Talagang in Chakwal, Punjab, is one of the most educationally underserved areas in the province. Government school infrastructure is limited, private schools are few, and the quality of available education leaves families with few good options for their children.

Baitussalam Welfare Trust's North Campus in Talagang was established to change this. Operating on Mianwali Road, the North Campus brings the same integrated model of Islamic and modern education that has served thousands of students in Karachi to the rural heart of Punjab.

For families in Talagang and the surrounding villages of Chakwal district, the North Campus is not just a school. It is the best education option for miles around.

Programmes at the North Campus

Hifz-e-Quran Department

Complete Quran memorisation programme under qualified Huffaz, following the same standard as BWT's Karachi facilities.

Dars-e-Nizami

The traditional Islamic scholarship curriculum producing well-rounded graduates in religious sciences and Arabic.

Nazra and Tajweed

Foundational Quran recitation with Tajweed for students of all ages.

Jamia Baitussalam Lil Banat

Women's Islamic education programme offering a six-year Dars-e-Nizami for female students in the Talagang area.

Raudha Tus Salam Montessori

Arabic-medium Montessori early childhood education for the children of Talagang and surrounding villages.

Contemporary Academics

Matriculation and intermediate level education alongside Islamic programmes for students seeking combined qualifications.

The North Campus and the Community

The North Campus is more than an educational institution. It is the anchor of BWT's welfare and community presence in central Punjab. Students from across Chakwal district and beyond come to Talagang for programmes that do not exist anywhere else in the region.

The campus also serves as a base for BWT's broader welfare activities in the Punjab region, including food distribution, healthcare outreach, and community development programmes.

Admissions

The North Campus accepts students annually across all programmes. Admission requirements vary by department:

Hifz Department: Completion of Nazra Quran and primary education, maximum age 11

Dars-e-Nizami: Appropriate prior Islamic education and proficiency in Arabic

Jamia Lil Banat: Female students seeking women's Islamic education

Montessori: Children aged 2 to 6 for early Arabic and foundational learning
