Talent
in Pakistan is abundant, but opportunity is scarce. Care O Bar was
started to bridge the gap between potential and possibility. An initiative of
Baitussalam Welfare Trust (BWT), Care O Bar was a first-of-its-kind
interest-free crowdfunding platform that connects aspiring entrepreneurs with
generous donors and investors who want to make their capital count for good.
The name Care O Bar draws its inspiration from the Urdu word “Karobar”,
meaning business, and the English word “Care.” It reflects the essence
of this initiative: combining business with benevolence and entrepreneurship
with empathy.
Many skilled individuals dream of running their own businesses but lack the financial means to begin. Care O Bar transformed this challenge into an opportunity, allowing people with vision and determination to start sustainable, income-generating ventures through a transparent, Shariah-compliant funding model.
Care O Bar reimagines crowdfunding as a model of empowerment rather than dependency.
Partnerships and Collaboration in Care O Bar
Care O Bar welcomed local and international partners to join hands in creating a sustainable micro-entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Partners could support the initiative in multiple ways:
● Fund entire projects or contribute seed capital
●
Donate inventory or raw materials to help businesses grow
faster
Through Care O Bar, every partnership became a step toward building an economy rooted in compassion, collaboration, and self-sufficiency.
